PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project includes a Needs Assessment, Programming, and Design for a new Public Safety/Fire Administration and Substation, and Municipal Court and Council Chamber building. The City of Boerne is a growing community with a service population of approximately 25,000. This multi use space hosts the entire police operations, which includes the Emergency 911 Public Safety Answering Point for all of Kendall County, holding and interrogation rooms, training areas and classrooms, an emergency operation center for disaster control, locker rooms, administrative office space, sally port, vehicle storage areas and secure on site parking. The Fire Administration shares space with the administrative staff of the police department. The Municipal Court/Council Chamber provides space for an audience of approximately 150. Space for a secure combined conference and Jury deliberation room will be designed, as well as a lobby and administrative office space for the Court Clerk and Judge.
