PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The two phases of additions for this project totaled 354 jail beds. Phase I included 220 direct supervision beds, plus 36 beds for close observation in the infirmary, and an ambulatory clinic. Also included were a new contact and non-contact visitation building, and a new kitchen and laundry facility to serve the entire campus. Services included confirmation of the Master Plan update and Needs Analysis in conjunction with a Value Analysis of Design Options. This was followed by Facilities Programming, Design and Construction Administration. Phase II of this project was initiated before completion of Phase I, adding another 48 maximum security male beds and 48 maximum security female beds.
